recently i upgraded from an core 2 duo e4400 to an e8400 due to limitation of the motherboards bios.i have it paired with an hd 5750(which should be fine for light games). every game i play runs better or fine. left 4 dead 2 i get like 60 fps, and fallout new vegas. but cs go runs like garbage 20 fps being the average.
i have no clue as to why this is as i had the same card running the game at 100 fps in a different computer. now the cpu was better but cs go can run on a potato. lowering settings makes fps worse which shows the age of the cpu.
