Hello,
So I'm having this issue with Garrys mod! It used to just crash go to a white screen and I would shut it down and re-open it and it would be fine for a couple of hours, but since today its been causing my whole computer to crash and get some blue screen with loads of writing on it and some times it will just completely restart.. I have tried uninstalling the game and re-installing it but it still does it, since its gotten worst all I did was update my graphics card drivers to the newest to see if that would fix it but it hasn't.. It never used to do this and I'm not sure why its doing it but it would be great if this could get fixed! I play other games that are more stressful on my computer and they run fine and I record for youtube as well and my computer is fine with that too so I don't know what this issue is and I would love it someone could help me, thank you for your time.
Oh and I run G-mod in windowed 1280 x 762 res [Or something like that].

Answering this is going to need a bit more info from your part, but lets rule out hardware issues as it looks like that's not the case.
okay, so, as far as software, are you positive that all your drivers (Video graphics, direct X, sound, Bios setting.. ect) are all up to date, as I've experienced game crashes cause a few of mine weren't and it caused a lot of issues. Next, since it's a steam game, try and verify the cache, make sure that when you're downloading it, that all the files are downloading correctly and none of them are corrupted during installation, also it would help to know what the blue error screen says if you can look at it long enough, and on top of that make sure that your firewall or antivirus isn't affecting the program. that's all i can really suggest for now with the limited information i have, sorry.

side note: Try running the game on your screens native resolution.
