garry's mod v4a, installed 800 mbs? and waiting to play in..

Hi,

I played hl2 now i wanted to install a mod,

I dont get it i put the mod: garry's mod in the right place and steam said:
install half life 2 (what? again?) and now i have to wait for 66 minutes to
play this thing? Something isnt right here. Did i do something wrong?

i had no problems with Garrysmod. Are you sure you're installing it to
the right folder, SourceMods? i have v3 though, so it might be
something to do with the new version. best to post on the garrysmod

youre doing something wrong.

read the WTF file in the zip.

its now about 42 minutes ready to play and it sticks with this time.

I did. Read the WTF in the zip file.

You dont have a magic system : you've clearly unzipped incorrectly into
the wrong place or somehow hosed your installation.

Installing this mod could not be simpler.
