I am not clear on the direct line of sight. Is there a clear sight line to the gate? And maybe you mentioned the other buildings because they will have to be used for relay.

If there is a line of sight, then you could try a pair of WIFI bridges like this -- https://www.amazon.com/Ubiquiti-NanoBeam-High-Performance-airMAX-NBE-5AC-Gen2-US/dp/B0713XMHH9 You would put one at the house and one on a pole at the gate. The two units would link. You could then use any network camera you want.
