More info?)
I honestly haven't tried to burn a DVD in the new burner, but I did burn the
backup restore discs, and everything worked properly. When you go into
media center, and then "more programs" and then "cd/dvd", do you have a disk
in the drive? In the device manager, it says I have model TSSTcorp CD/DVDW
TS-H552B for my cd/dvd burner. Check that you have a writeable disc in the
drive before you launch "cd/dvd". You should also have "Nero Smartstart"
installed under "Start", "All Programs", "Burn a CD/DVD", "Nero". Try using
that to burn discs. If Nero works and Media center does not, that that does
sound like a Microsoft/setup problem. Let me know what you uncover.
