I have a Gateway ZX6980 desktop, approx. 5 years old, with the original Acer wireless keyboard. I upgraded to Windows 10 last year without any problems. However, after the latest Creators Update in May, my computer began to enter shutdown mode occasionally and without any warning. After a lot of frustration (and going down various dead ends), I've figured out that the shutdown cycle is directly triggered by pressing one of the two Ctrl keys on the keyboard. I've done a clean install of Windows 10, which didn't help. I've also run Malwarebytes and don't pick up any malware. Finally, I checked the registry and don't see any reassignment of keys. Ideas?
