does a PCI express video card is compatible with a Gateway DX4300-04C computer

The computer has a PCI express x 16 v2.0 slot. According to Gateway it has either 300watt or 500watt PSU. http://support.gateway.com/s/desktop/2009/gateway/dx/dx4300/DX4300sp2.shtml
The size of the PSU is going to govern how powerful a card you can install. If 300watt HD5670 would be the best card without PSU upgrade.
