I wanted to know if I can upgrade this computer http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883113259 with a GTX 750 graphics card for improved fps in gaming. I'm hoping to get 60 fps or more for most games on medium to high settings. The power supply says that it has DC OUTPUT: 300W (3.3 & +5V=130W max). My friend is telling me that this computer isn't meant for upgrades. Any feedback is appreciated Thanks for any help!

In my experience, it is easier to build a new computer in a clean case than it is to add components to a prebuilt one from one of the biggies like Gateway or HP.

Your FPS estimate sounds high to me for a GTX 750. However, that GPU will be a big upgrade over HD2500 integrated graphics.

The PSU's in these PC's is often inadequate as well, and 300W is gonna be close, particularly as they are lower quality. You may have to end up upgrading your PSU as well.

What's the lowest cost for a gaming computer that will give me 60 fps for games like: APB Reloaded and Skyrim?
