Gateway dx4860 wont work WITH A Evga 760 CARD

I have a Gateway dx4860 and I am trying to install at EVGA 760 card it . I have a 600W PSU and 8meg of memory. After install of the card, upon boot the system beeps, I get the gateway image on the monitor and the a few more beeps and the screen blanks with a flashing cursor.

Maybe ..........ur GPU is not suitable wit ur Motherboard......

Try to contact ur Gateway customer care.....becz its OEM built system

Doesn't seem to be anyway to ask Gateway, because it's past warranty and support is through as third party and useless

Then return the Graphic card or sell it to ur friends

It seems.....ur system doesnt supports tis GPU
