Question Gateway DX4870 won't detect any graphics card

Hello. My Gateway DX4870 desktop tower could not detect any graphics card when I turned on the computer. I had just bought an MSI Nvidia Ge Force GT 730 2GB graphics card and installed it into the graphics card slot of my desktop. But when I turned on the computer, the Gateway logo just shows 1 minute with a beep sound I hear every 20 seconds, then the screen cuts off and I still hear the beep sound.

Here are the specifications of my Gateway DX4870 desktop tower:

Intel Core-i7 3770 - 3.40 GHz
8 GB Ram
1 TB HHD
Intel HD Graphics 4000
PS-6301-08A Power supply - 300 watts
MSI Nvidia Ge Force GT 730(just installed)

Could there be anything wrong with the graphics card slot inside my computer?

and you said you bought a 2GB gpu.

The PSU is a PS-6301-08A power supply with 300 watts.

The GPU is the MSI Nvidia GeForce GT 730 2GB graphics card I bought, not the Intel HD Graphics 4000.
