I went to remove a 7800 GT that I had installed in the gateway pc, it was running hot, so I figured I'd remove it so it would run normal. While removing it I had forgotten it had a little catch clip to release it at the edge. Tried pulling on it then realized oh it has a clip. Then when i went to start it with the onboard card plugged in to monitor, the monitor didn't turn on. Then I tried resetting the cmos with the jumpers and still nothing, so then I thought I'd plug old card back in, nothing, tried removing the battery from cmos area, nothing, now when I turn it on, I tried listening to see if you hear windows coming on, and I don't hear it, could I have not followed correct directions for resetting cmos? Or what I'm most afraid of is I fried the mobo while trying pull out the graphics card. I'd hate to buy a mobo off ebay, the replacement ones are like $36, I don't want to replace it if its something I can fix. thanks for any info
