Your laptop is trying to boot via the network connection and this usually happens when the hard drive has failed.
However, if you want to try re-installing Windows from the recovery disk #1 you must bring up the
Boot Device Menu, select "CD/DVD drive" with up/down arrow keys, then press <Enter>.
To bring up the
Boot Device Menu, press
F10 when you see the Gateway splash-screen at boot time:

If the recovery process says it can't continue or throws up an error, you'll need to install a new hard drive then run recovery.
