Gateway recovery management

I have created the 12 (count 'em, 12!) recovery discs, and tried to restore the system. I followed the instructions but the darn thing still has all the files and programs! How do I do a complete restore? Please, and THANK YOU!

What are you trying to do? It sounds like you just created a backup and then restored it, which would be a waste of time unless something broke since you created the backup

While I don't own Gateway system, it will be useful to tell us what laptop/desktop you are having, and how do you perform the recovery.
