Harlan;
That is your opinion shared by some but definitely not all.

If you have a problem someone here or on another forum can probably
help.
But "They are buguters instead of computers" is no help at all to
those who may help you.

Well, what is the point of this? If you have a problem, maybe someone could
help if you posted some details.
Still, I guess it helps to vent one's spleen now and then. ;-)

1. eMachines systems are rubbish.

2. Gateway is now eMachines.

3. Draw your own conclusions.

Wayne Inouye serves as president & CEO of Gateway. With numerous years
of senior executive experience at prominent retail companies, Inouye
orchestrated the successful turnaround of eMachines, Inc., culminating
in its acquisition by Gateway in March 2004.

Mr. Inouye became president and CEO of privately held eMachines in
March 2001 and quickly turned the company into one of the
fastest-growing, most efficient PC companies in the U.S. Previously,
he served as senior vice president of computer merchandising for Best
Buy Co., Inc., a position he had held since 1995. Inouye also held the
position of vice president of merchandising for The Good Guys!, where
he served for nine years.
