[SOLVED] Gateway Z5WT3 laptop trouble

I have this Gateway laptop that was working. Then suddenly if I turn it off and turn it back on, it goes through a cycle of turning off, turning on, not even POSTing. It does this for awhile where eventually it would run like normal. I've tried replacing the RAM, same result. Anything else I can try?

Most likely thing is a bad motherboard. You can see if it is stable without the drive, that may cause boot issues if it's bad.
