Hard time choosing. I'm looking at the 7600 and corsair vengaence ddr5 32gb 6000mhz cl30 both on sale atm.
Pro's gb b650 aorus elite:
-Has gen 5 pcie m.2 support
-Better vrm's and faster boot times
Cons:
-might have coil whine
-is more expensive right now...

Pro's msi Tomahawk b650 wifi:
-Is cheaper 209 euro's instead of 244 euro's
-Has some features more...

I'm not a overclocker, but when push comes to shove, I want to be able to. And even without overclocking, I heard vrm's matter so I'm considering the extra money for the gigabyte aorus elite one since it has better vrm temps of msi aren't too bad either.
I have seen the video of the "35 motherboard b650's comparison". In this video it has been said that both boards are good but he prefered the aorus elite because it has gen 5 m.2 support.

There is no future proof. Period. So let's just not even discuss that part.

They are both fairly good quality boards with decent enough feature sets for 90% of users. Honestly, I tend to prefer Gigabyte over MSI and in fact I have many of what are realistically the same range/model of boards from several different generations including 99FXA-UD5, Z170 Gaming 5, Z690 Aorus elite ax ddr4 and AM4 Aorus elite WiFi, and I've never had a single problem with any of these boards including most of the systems have been moderately overclocked (both CPU and memory) as well. And that specific tier level of board from Gigabyte seems to always do very well in reviews, consistently.

The MSI Tomahawk boards are generally very good though and if you can get one for less then it's probably the better deal honestly.

As for the coil whine, technically possible I guess, but I have NEVER heard of coil whine on any modern motherboard. Graphics cards and power supplies, definitely, motherboards, never once. Now, hearing electrical switching when going from power on to POST, sure, that's not uncommon from the motherboard. I hear it on many boards. But coil whine, not really. Not on mainboards.
