GB X58A-UD3R: Updated BIOS to FH, Standby stopped working

Hi,

I yesterday updated my Gigabyte X58A-UD3R (rev. 2.0) from BIOS version FE1 to FH. The settings were reset in the process.

My OS is Windows 7 64 Bit and now the standby stopped working. The PC still goes in standby. When waking up, I see the login screen but after entering my credentials the PC hangs and reboots after some time.

Any clues what I could do here?

Get into the BIOS and change the Sleep State.
There should be 3 of them most likely S1, S3 and S1& S3.
Cycle thru them to get the rig to back as it was before this.

Sorry for my late response, I thought I'd get an email notification if somebody replies.

Your hint worked, I switched from S3 into S1 and now Windows wakes up again fine.
