Gddr 5 graphics card on ddr3 motherboard

I have dell precision t5500 and I have gddr 5 graphics card and I want to ask that will my graphics card work on ddr3 motherboard(dell precision t5500)

yes , but often these Dell boxes have proprietry motherboards on bespoke cases and the graphics card slot might not permit a double width card.
Basically, it you can fit it into the case, it will work
