Gddr6 VS Gddr5X

What is the difference between those 2 ?
Does it affects performance in a significant level.
If so how much and why ?

So Gddr6 is Gddr5x 2.0

If not it will be waste of money to buy an Rtx 2060 with Gddr6 at 350$ instead the Gddr5x at lower cost if rummors and leaks are true and both cards are 6gb
