I find it stupid for the company to just use HD resolution screen when you can have a FHD screen and still lower the resolution for some games on it ...

Maybe they did that to increase battery life , but there exists a 1 watt only IPS LCD today with FHD resolution , no need to go low on resolution to save battery life.
