Ge-Force 2 MX vs. Voodoo3 3000 AGP

Can anyone tell me if the Creative Annihilator 2 Ge-Force MX is better than the 3dfx Voodoo3 3000 AGP.

It depends what you are going to use it for. VooDoo is better in 2D and Glide games (UT, etc.), other than that MX is better in Open GL games. 2D is not that great softly saying.

No... there's NO arguement or compromise here... the GF2 MX outperforms the Voodoo5 in ALL benchmarks. So, if it out does the Voodoo5, it REALLY outdoes the Voodoo3. Check out Tom's reviews or Andantech's reviews. Why do you think 3DFX went under? The Voodoo5 was a huge disappointment.

voodoo3 = crap
gf2mx = not so crap
