I hope this won't be too much of a console port on the pc... especially the auto-aiming, and the clunky controls... nor the insanely "customizable" graphics settings... I want something that is more than barely playable.

[citation][nom]soldier37[/nom]I will be too busy playing the new BF3 maps (Armored Kill) to worry about this game.[/citation]
But not too busy to post on a forum about it.

It takes skills to shoot with one hand and type with the other.

I thought Borderlands was going to be great based on the reviews, but about 2 hours into the game, I uninstalled it. Borderlands was a really boring game imho. I did play solo so maybe that's why it sucked.

Not counting on this one being any better than the first.

Solo wasn't as fun as party play for sure. Also the game was kind of bland before you got into the DLCs that's when the game became great. BL2 will be better then the first.

borderlands was one of the funniest games i ever play, i love fps, chaotic ones, where you resist many hit but you are really outnumbered and outgunned, also i love loot bonanza like diablo 2, and leveling and gaining skills from playing its really cool, and gaining talents like wow??? man borderlands seems to be made just for me! i just wish that it was "moddable" so people can add much more enemies that respawn!! guys you gotta love this game! it has everything that can generate an addiction packed into a single game!

The upcoming "space western" FPS-RPG is slated to arrive on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC on September 18, followed by a European release on September 21.

And in later news - The European market strangely have the highest number of pirated copies. The company PR suits are clueless why that happened!

they get it later because of how retail works there, they stock on friday. there are very few gaming companies that have the clout to pull off a unified global release.

[citation][nom]soldier37[/nom]Too busy to read your rebuttal for sure...and still dont care about this game. So meh.[/citation]
Well, you had time to check for rebuttals...

I enjoyed the SP well enough to keep playing, but yeah, once I teamed up with a few friends, it became one of my favorite games of all time. Also agreed: the DLC rocked. Now, granted, the DLC is when I started playing with friends, but I still think they were better than the core game.

They've been learning along the way what works and what doesn't, so I have high hopes for the sequel.

HAHAHAHA. Who the F*ck is playing BF?!?! Especially when Borderlands 2 comes out. LOL

The original Borderlands was awesome. Had issues playing with friends, but found some third party software that made it work and it was awesome.

Hopefully, connection problems won't be an issue this time around.

Come on, I'm sure this guy is totally right - Some new BF maps are going to sink BL2. This game is completely doomed. Sorry, Gearbox...

Once they switched over to Steamworks instead of Gamespy, everything got a lot better. I wasn't wild about the in-game chat, but we use TeamSpeak anyway.

Indeed, in either case it will add to the piracy numbers because the pirated version will most likely be available before the official release. Those that don't like to wait will have a hard time not to download the pirated version rather than wait and purchase it later. Those that pirate will use the availability as a excuse for doing what's wrong - Maybe some day the company's will awake and see what happens and correct the issue of availability to its customers.

except that this game is considered a multiplayer game, by the devs, not a game with multiplayer but a multiplayer game...

that means that the ideal way to play it is with more than one person. and multiplayer on a pirate version... that doesn't work well most of the time right?

I enjoyed the single player game so much that it was the first game i really had to replay so many times. One of the greatest games in my gaming history..... i would even say equal to skyrim.

Next step for me would be a nice double key installation so i can play with another friend like lan mode or at least a substantial rebate when you buy two copies.
