if i was to bring geeksquad my desktop and my graphics card would that uninstall the old drivers and reinstall the new ones?

Physically bringing it to them? No. Bringing it to them to do maintenance? Well it all depends on what exactly they are doing.

Oh. No Graphics cards are not simply plug and play. You would have to manually uninstall the old drivers and install the new ones.

It's very likely they will, though I would ask them just to make sure. Can't hurt to ask questions.

It's really a coin toss. Depending on what graphics card/drivers you currently have installed and what you want them to install, they may or may not remove the old drivers. They likely won't tell you either. If you ask, they'll likely say they did (regardless of whether they actually did or not). Just a guess here, but they probably think if you know enough to check them on that, you wouldn't have brought the computer to them in the first place.

It is a lot like a mechanics shop. If you go there telling them exactly what you want done, it's likely they'll do it and that's all. I've never dealt with GeekSquad though, so I don't know what I would expect.
