I wouldn't call it unfortunate, I'd call it disappointing if this actually correct. Personally I have been pinching pennies recently for either a new Surface Book 15" or Surface Studio with new 8th Gen CPU. I'm far less inclined to by a machine with 2 Gen old hardware when, in the same time space as release we could potentially get 9th Gen i9s or Zen processors
