News Geekom 'violently' smashes its new Mini PC with a sledgehammer, drags it behind a motorbike, and spins it in a washing machine - PC still works aft...

Those were pretty weak attempts. Earlier this summer I took out a tree stump in my yard using an axe and split maul used in conjunction and that hammer was barely dropped on those blocks. A trip to the range also likely wouldn't end well. I was thinking of doing that to a phone I really hated for a while and then I noticed these mini pcs come with Arrow Lake which should be a nice combination with the form factor for performance and sound levels and my malice for it left. I already went through my mini pc phase years ago, but if I was still interested in that stuff one of these boxes would be pretty nice.

Now if only geekom/kamrui/acemagic put decent parts in their minipcs and didn't prevent real buyers from reviewing them on amazon. Until a few get through, they delete the listing and start over with a fresh one?

And if they didn't tell me that they wouldn't take a return until I deleted the one star review I left? Amazon took the return anyhow. But they'll never see my $ again. I've had good luck with minisforum. Seems they don't fib as much about specs, use brand name stuff, etc. Not noname sata "SSD's", half baked wifi and bluetooth and overheating problems.

Then they wouldn't end up dragged behind a car, nor would that be quite as satisfying?
