I just saw this geforce 2 ultra when tyiping in yahoo shopping. Called em said not a mistake. Why is this modle so cheap? Do you think there hot?

Not a mistake, are you sure? In anandtech there is a thread going on about it. They all assumed it was a mistake, it costs more than the same exact card manufacturer with less options. Don't know though, here is the link to the other thread:

Well as of Friday they indicated they had 25 of em .. I ordered one today (Sun.) but fully expect that : 1. they will say it's a mistake or 2. (and worse) it was not a mistake and they are all out of em .. we will see but I'd bet the ranch I get one or the other replies to my order

Tell me if they are ultra's or if u have any trouble. It looks like i will soon need a new video card. At that price i would assume that that is a better deal than the radeon SE. But i suppose i'd be willing to pay $136 for a radeon SE.

Just keep track of the thread I linked earlier. Even if it wasn't a mistake, it said only 25 of them are available, and they don't have real time inventory or whatever it is called.

Maybe it is a prank, do it so people hear about the site (I never heard of them before), only put in quantity of 25 to guard your back. This way they can tell everyone, and I mean everyone, that they sold out, they only had 25 in the first place (that way they wouldn't even have to sell to the first 25).

Anyways, I think on the thread they speculated that several thousand people have ordered, so I wouldn't pin my hopes on it, although I would be very happy for you if you got one.

I got a Leadtek one.

yeah, this morning, i woke up and checked the site, and they now have the item as out of stock. but it is still listed as that price.
i really hope that they restock that item, because i would much rather spend 104 on a gf2 ultra then 134 on a gf2 pro...
but, if i have to, i will and be happy..
also, there is a computer show coming up in my neighborhood, and i bought my last video card there about a year and a half ago. how much do you guys think i would be able to pick up that leadtek for there? or the microstar 831 gf2 pro?

i called them to make sure the price was correct, and they said that it was, they were jsut out of stock, and that they were trying to reorder some more from them, but i guess that they were unable to get the cards.

I havn't recieved mine yet. They sure took there money though. They usually take about a week to ship anything for some reason. Im gonna have to email them.

When I go into a computer store I lose all means of reason for some reason.

they are in the hole 2113 so far.
and if everyone else is selling that card at about 190-200, then DAMN, they must be loosing money on those things. unless they are totally writing it off like cancelling orders or something. if they do that, then i will loose any respect for that company. it is kinda their fault for having an inventory indicator that updates every 24 hours!
they should fire the guy or gal who came up with that idea!
a message to CDR express....rethink your marketing strategies. sure, a bunch of people saw that site because of the EXTREMELY cheap card, but how much money are they going to loose on this?
