Geforce 1080 - Will Europe get the raw deal again? is 1070 SLI best option?

Here in the UK i paid £560 on launch day for my 980 ti - ~$799. I bet the 1080's are more like £550 here in the UK.

If the 1070's are $379 (£250) i might buy 2 of those rather than the 1080.... price depending.

anyone in america fancy buying one for me and sending it over as a 'gift'? just kidding

Those new cards are supposed to be 10 - 15% cheaper that their respective predecessors, at least by factory price. Look for a price drop for older cards. Now it all depends on dealers in Europe.

The prices for every single Maxwell & Kepler GPU nvidia still sell as new should be theoretically slashed in half. I say this because a single 1070 : $379/£250 can out perform a £900 Titan X GPU, never mind a GTX 960, 970, 980, 980 ti etc....
