GeForce 2 Pro or GF 2 MX 64Mb

I need a new gfx card but dont know which one, a Hercules Prophet 2 MX 64Mb or a creative GF2 Pro (64Mb DDR). The pro costs £50 ($66) more, is it worth it?

do you have a good cpu? (more than 750mhz) if you have go with the kyro...

I have upgraded my system, I now have: Athlon 1.2GHz 266FSB
+ 256Mb PC133 RAM. Just need some graphics to replace my aging banshee! Help me please!

I've heard people having problems with the Kyro but how much better than the GeForce GTS is it?

The Kyro II beats the GTS at some games, and in other games the GTS wins. If you hate Nvidia I suppose you would go with a Kyro, otherwise I think you'd be just as happy with an Nvidia card.

Do NOT buy the Geforce2 MX... you'll be wanting to replace it mere days after buying it. A Geforce2 Pro is a very good card, and can be overclocked to perform as well or better than the stock settings of the infamous Geforce2 Ultra. If you want a card right now and don't want to wait to see what the Radeon 2 brings, I say buy the Geforce2 Pro. Less expensive than the Ultra or a Ge3, and can perform just as well as the Ultra.
