My nvidia geforce 210 1gb ddr3 card (yeah not the best and NO i dont want to upgrade) specs say graphics clock of 589mhz, processor clock of 1402mhz and memory clock of 1000mhz. But when i go into MSI afterburner or EVGA Precision its only at 135mhz core, 270 shader, and 135 memory idle. When playing a game it jumps up to a max of 405 core, 810 shader and 324 memory. World of tanks and similar games are unplayable, and trying to overclock using one of the two tools mentioned does nothing after hitting apply, it refuses to go higher (which is still below stock speeds). I am using the latest card drivers (331.58). Basically i want to know why its being throttled, and how i can fix it and maybe overclock. Temps for GPU at idle are about 45 degree's C, Full load no more then 55 C. Also is it possible to unlock voltages with this card in MSI afterburner or EVGA Precision? I have the Unlock Voltage control and monitoring check in options but its still locked, is this only for certain cards?
Thanks in advance.

Its downclocking to safe on power, you don't need 3d clocks for most desktop usage, when you play a game or use anything the needs video power, it will jump its clocks back up. this is normal, nothing at all wrong with your card bro.

Also that card, no you can't unlock voltages on that particular card, 55C is well with in its safe zone for temps, I'd start to worry if its hits 85C+

Hello and thanks for the reply, But as i said the clocks aren't hitting what the stock clock is, even when playing a game such as world of tanks. The GPU usage is hitting 100% but the graphics card clock wont go higher (like 100mhz below stock clock) and it wont let me overclock it. My frame rate is terrible.

Thanks for the suggestion and link, fortunately after a reboot with the "apply overclock at start up" option selected seems to have fixed it, the graphics card now speeds up to stock clock and allows me to overclock it.
