Hello. I have a PNY Verto Geforce 3 Ti 200 64MB AGP video card. I order the card back on Oct. 15, 2001 when the card originally came out. I have recently been having problems with the card. Each time I put the card in ANY of my computers and install the latest Detonator drivers(any version, official or beta version) and I reboot the machine, Windows takes a LONG time to reboot. It gets half way through the startup process and stops for about 1 to 2min showing the "Windows XP Professional" screen and a slider that's stopped moving. Then after the 1 to 2 minutes, startup will continue and then stop again showing a blank, black screen right before Windows XP displays the blue "Welcome" screen. I have tried this card in all of my computers that have an AGP slot and it does the SAME thing is all of them. I have tried the card in a VIA KT400 chipset motherboard, an AMD 761 chipset motherboard, a VIA KT266A chipset, and a SiS 735 chipset. All had the latest AGP/chipset drivers and NVIDIA Detonator drivers installed. I have NEVER overclocked this card either. I have contacted PNY about this issue two times and they haven't replied(it's been almost two weeks since the first email). Is there anything I can do to fix this thing? Thanks!

i was gonna say it could be faulty rams, but since you've tested the card in all these different machines, then i guess it must be the faulty video card. is it still under warrenty?

PNY has a lifetime warranty on this card. But the problem with that is getting in contact with PNY. I've sent them two emails(one about a week ago) and another one just the other day. I have called today and left two messages on their video card tech support answering machine and they haven't called me back. Oh, and their automated tech support service is SO stupid...........I HOPE I can get it replaced under warranty if they will call or email me back. I have to go through them because the company I bought it from only has a 30day warranty on it and I bought back on Oct. 15, 2001. =\.......

Well hopefully if you get in touch with pny they will honor their lifetime warranty. I am sure they will replace it if you get in touch with them. Thats odd though, I always considered them a good company to do business with.

If you don't get satisfaction from PNY, contact the Watchdog at MaximumPC. They'll go after them and you'll either get the problem resolved or they'll get a bad write up in the magazine.
