Geforce 3 weirdness, help?

I have WinXP, 1ghz thndrbird, asus a7v133, 512megs of pc133sdram, sblive, and about 5 months ago purchased a PNY Geforce 3 card. I had overclocked the Vid card but in the last month have not due to the problem i'm about to describe. Basically, every few days when i boot my computer, my vid card doesn't work in any 3d stuff, or video stuff. It simply freezes apon attempt. The only way to get it to work again, is i open up the case, pull out the card, put the card back in, and it works again. I'm wondering if i fried my card from OC, or if i'm having some other issue, . .with the MB even?, and if their is any way to test or find out? THe card always works fine in 2d desktop. THe problem only occurs when the computer is turned off and then booted up ... it doesn't happen in the middle of 3d applications or video editing or anything.

what mobo and vid card drivers are you using? Get the latest ones and re-instal them. Better yet, backup everything and do a fresh instal of windows.
