Geforce 4 MX 440

I installed a Chaintech Geforce 4 MX 440 in my new PC i'm buliding. AMD 1800, Shuttle AK31A, 350 Watt Power Supply, 256DDR, 40GB WD, 16X DVD,Windows XP Pro. All I got was some lines with occasional graphic behind them. Everything else fired up with no problem. I then put the card in both of my other PC's with the same results. Reseated the card several times in all PC's. Other PC's running XP also, they both have Nvidia drivers installed. Any ideas?
