I am planning to buy my friend's Gainward Geforce 4 ti 4200 card for £30. One thing is a bit annoying however - I use the composite TV-out feature on my GF4mx to watch DIVXs on my TV, but the GF4ti has only S-video out (doesnt have the extra composite pins on the connector).
Is it possible to solder on an S-video connector which does have the extra pins for composite? Or would you also need to add a chip/diodes to the PCB? (The solder pads for composite are there)
