geforce 6800 agp

I just recently got a Geforce 6800 agp 512mb gpu and whenever i put it into my pc and start it up i just get a beeping noise and the caps lock key flashes.

How can i resolve this problem? Do i need a different graphics card? If so which is best for my system

Pc specs:Hp workstation xw6000
4gb ram
1tb hd,2 x 80gb hd
460w power supply
o/s is Windows xp
The graphics card i use now is a nVidia quadro 4 750 xgl

there are a lot of pc builds in youtube which only costs 350$ and its 7x faster than your current system

My budget is roughly £150 and in the UK
I will use the computer to play some games like LFD2, TF2, Civilisation 5 nothing like Battlefield or call of duty.

I probably wont be saving up to £300 for a while i'm only 14 years old and don't really have a source of income. So thanks for the offer but i will most likely be buying a second hand pc then a new gpu.
