GeForce 710M not being identified

After rebooting the Lenovo U410 Touch laptop, the GeForce 710M is nonexistent. It doesn't exist in the device manager, and Nvidia GeForce experience (which i just downloaded) says I don't have an Nvidia card installed. Please help!

I did a quick search of your laptop model and believe that laptop came with the 610M instead. Might want to double check that

Nope, it says it can't find compatible graphics hardware.

No, I know it's a 710M, when the card used to work it displayed 710M

So it used to work? Try a system restore and see if that helps
Choose the restore point to the date the card worked.

Search system restore in windows and open it from there

Okay, I did some troubleshooting and came up with this

Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)

To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer.

Does that basically mean I'm a goner? If it's disconnected from the laptop, surely I can't reconnect it?

Hate to see that happen. It is most likely a goner 🙁

The last option you have is to enter your bios settings and disable the onboard graphics to force the use of the gpu. If this fails you need to get a new laptop (due to not being worth the trouble replacing a laptop gpu).

If you didn't own the laptop for very long, I would call the company to check if its under warranty for free replacement
