The problem I have is that, recently, the games that I used to be able to play fine started to crash.
Sometimes there will be a notification saying graphics hardware is blocked
but most times it just crashed and stopped working.
I noticed that it only happens when I am using my Nvidia graphics card to run the game, whereas while running with the Intel integrated graphics there's no crashing. However, I would much prefer to use the Nvidia graphics
I have tried updating drivers, reinstalling them, even roll them back. I've also tried using MSI Afterburner to decrese the clock speed and memory speed as suggested by some.
I have even done a clean reinstall of windows and nothing seems to have worked.

The games that I am talking about were running fine at medium to high settings before any of this started to happen. Then, it just started crashing.

I used to get an error that goes something like d3d11 device hung infinite loop however I did not take a screenshot. The error does not seem to come up anymore.
I really hope somebody can help me fix this problem for me
Thanks is advance

I have the same problem. The error is associated with the gpu's hardware normally caused by overheating. This error is called GPU artifacting and there's no way to fix it unless you send it back to Acer to replace the motherboard if under warranty. I'm planning to try this(https://trickiknow.com/external-graphics-card-for-laptop-egpu-setup-guide/ ) and continue my gaming habit. It's been 4 months since i stopped playing games due to gpu damage 🙁 .
