geforce 970 superclocked or ftw version question

Im just wondering im planning to get a evga 970 superclocked however im wondering how much of a fps diffrece 2ill make if I hwve the ftw edition whitch is more expensive?

sc will cost less
literally like maybe 1-2fps difference

Try a 290x or wait for the 380x to come out. You'll get more for your money.

SC has a boost clock of 1317
FTW boost clock is 1367.
You will never tell the difference in actual gameplay.
It would take a synthetic benchmark.
Either will be very good.

i just bought the evga ssc edition comes with free back plate and a free witcher, the one guy mentioned get a r9 290, i think u should stick with the 970 if ur trying not to upgrade for a while........ the 290 is great but ull see prob 10 more fps in most high end games on the gtx 970......... i just switched from a 290x cause of the support issue

was very happy with the card but i just think the gtx's will run better, if u have the money go for the gtx if ur a lil broke and wanna upgrade in 2 years go for a 290/290x






ps the ssc will over clock to the ftw or most likely higher
