Alright so when I go to canyourunit.com and check if I can run a game like lets say Red Alert 3 it says I meet every requirement except the Video Card. It says Minimum Video Card is 6800 or better. But underneath it shows this:

Minimum/Yours

Video RAM 128 MB / 475.0 MB
3D Yes / Yes
Hardware T&L Yes / Yes
Pixel Shader version 2.0 / 3.0
Vertex Shader version 2.0 / 3.0

Could I technically run this game because its AGP and I pass the requirements other than the 6800 part? The Video Ram is 475 mb which is much more then the required ram. Its not just this game but a lot of others that say the same thing. Unfortunately I lost my 7800 AGP card lol. But till i find that im dealing with this crap.

But I have nearly quadrupole the video ram than than the 6800pci apparently. Also someone correct me if I'm wrong, AGP series has more power or whatever then the PCI series of the same number. Like wont a 7600agp be better than a 7600pci express?

that is the exact opposite. The cards will be technically the same level of power, but the pci express interface itself is probably 5-10 times faster than agp. And video ram is much less important than how many shaders, cores or stream processors the gpu has, which is where you will be severely lacking.

Not 100% certain here, but I'm thinking canyourunit is reporting your Video RAM as a total between what's on the card plus TurboCache (memory borrowed from your system RAM). Which means your graphics card could have as little as 16MB of dedicated video RAM.

I still think the game will run (albeit poorly).

No the card has 256mb of ram for sure. So the extra 200mb must be borrowed from the system ram like you said. Back in the day with my 6600 or 7600 I was able to run DoWII on medium settings smoothly. And Brothers In Arms Hells Highway on high. Im still running with that same pc but with a 6200. I think it has a curse man.
