Geforce experience isn't opening?

I bought a 1080ti about two weeks ago and everything has been working fine apart from I cannot open the geforce experience at all, this problem started a few days ago

why do you need it? its useless. update directly from nvidia.

Because I use it to save my clips in games such as PUBG and would like to find my videos

Try using DDU to remove the NVidia software, then reinstall it.

I had the same issue recently too so I'm not sure if a Windows Update broke the link or not.

Actually the LINK is no longer on my Taskbar or right-click of desktop. I have to go to the START MENU, then find Geforce Experience under "NVidia..."

I go to the start menu and open the experience the same way, I get the black box with the green loading bar but after some minutes I get a small pop up window that says "Nividia installation error"

did you use DDU, then reinstall and use the "custom" , "clean" (or whatever) option to cleanly install the NVidia drivers + GE again?

I have had this same issue with discord and origin and it might be caused by the same thing
Open task manager and make sure that it is not running, if its on auto open when you turn on the PC sometimes it will not show the application, but it still counts it as running, if auto run is enabled, shut it off, and if it IS running in the system and you notice this through task manager, simply end the task and re-open the application, this solved my issue for both Origin and Discord
