I was using NVIDIA Geforce Experience, mostly Shadowplay to record stuff! And yesterday I upgraded my windows 8 to windows 8.1... and now Geforce experience wont start! When i double click on it it says - Geforce experience encountered a error and must close -

Ive tryed uninstalling and installing it again, but it didnt work! Tryed starting it with administrator, still didnt work! Please help me, I really want to use shadowplay!

Thank you

uninstall again , then download and install the media feature, becuase after you have upgraded you may not have it anymore http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40744 then after you have installed it , restart your pc and go to geforce.com and download and install again
NOTE : after the uninstall you may want to try to delete the registry entry too then proceed to the other steps.

Solution

When I try to install that media feature you told me, I get this: The update is not applicable to your computer

What do I do? ;/

try this , open run commanc ein key +r and type in services.msc and in there restart all the nvidia services, right click on them and click restart and then try to open again the ge force experience

Yeah i read that in a forum, tryed it! not working ;/

Wow, thats the strangest thing ever! I gave up on it yesterday... and today i started it as well... and again .not working. !

But just now i just tryed starting it out of some lost hopes in me that it will work ... and it worked!!
I didnt even do anything... this is super strange!

Thanks for everything tho :)
