GeForce GT 520 102 Deg. C. under load..

is this normal? I see on the Nvidia website the 520 max temp is 102... how bad is this and how much further could it actually go and still not break, if any at all? Also fan speed is at 100% when this is happening (automatic fan speed, it raises and lowers in connection to the raise and lowering of GPU temp)

No, definitely not normal. Either you're not getting enough cooling to it, the fan is clogged with dust, or the thermal paste on it is bad. Running at that temperature for prolonged periods is bad. They list the max temperature at that because that's generally when your GPU needs to start throttling itself to cool itself, or shut down in order to save itself, especially if the fan is maxed out like that.

the computer is only 2 months old and Ive air dusted it about 3 times.. not very dusty at all also have a intake and outtake fan in my rig as well.. the gpu was brand new out the box so I doubt the thermal paste went bad in 2 months.. and theres very minimal to no dust at all in the system. Also, this is while playing "No Room Left in Hell" on med-high graphics with about 40-70 fps. frames are fine.. just the temp.. but it doesnt raise that high in other games

edit- I have forgottenly left my fan on 100% numerous amounts of times though for days on end usuing the manual overide.. it just slips my mind sometimes then I realized about 5 days ago my GPU had been running at 100% for over a week.. so maybe I ran the fan to hard? But still.. other games I play dont raise this high in temp.. and are about the same graphic dependancy..idk.. I have another brand new 520 I could pop in and run the game and see if the same prob persists I guess....
