Geforce Gt 640 M LE drivers problem

I was installing my Nvidia card drivers just fine..till one day when i tried to install the latest my pc froze on installation..! Forced to close laptop...this caused corrupted drivers and black screen before windows start up...! I booted in safe Mode clean installed my previous drivers and they worked just fine.The problem is that i cannot update any more my Nvidia drivers cause every latest driver installation i try it Freezes every time! Asked Nvidia about that and they did not manage to find me a solution...thanks in advance!

Did you fully uninstall the old drivers first, also may be something in the BIOS the newer drivers don't like - do you have the latest BIOS - another possible is a driver clash with another driver - might try installing the nVidia drivers while in safe mode

First of All, i got the latest Bios for my laptop i have checked it ! When i install the new drivers on safe mode my pc does not freeze but when i restart my pc it stucks on the login screen as it does if the driver installation stucks when i am in normall mode! After 2 fail boots pc tries to repair the problem but nothing can be done! This problem appeared after Gta V Nvidia drivers..after these drivers it just stucks...but with these drivers or older it works! I have tried everything don't know what to do!

Did you get the drivers from the laptop website (they sometimes alte them to fit in with their hardware), if so would stick with the older version till a revised ver is released
