I recently got a Zotac Geforce GT 730 Zone edition card and after install it will not get past the boot screen. Power supply is DPS-460DB-3 460W and Motherboard is IPIS8-CH2 running Win 10. I have 8 GB RAM. Any reason this wouldn't work? Thanks for the help!

Solution
Zotac says the Gt730 Zone uses pcie 2, not 3; so this should work in my thinking.
I checked evga's and their 730's are pice2 also.
Have you checked to see if there were a bios update for your motherbd?

How many GB on your Zotac?
You might want to contact Zotac and see if there is a legacy bios available for this. I found posts on MSi's forum stating their 750Ti will work (so I dont see why a 730 wont) but the gpu's firmware may need to be changed (legacy/uefi)

Update - I've found several posts in Hp's forum by Hp rep's stating that the Chicago board is not compatible with nvdia 700 or 900 series due to the hp bios, which they won't update.
popatim, could you explain how to do this? I haven't done anything with the BIOS. I have this Motherboard (http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02854392#N524) and according to the "Clearing CMOS" section my pins are in the "Clear CMOS" and "Clear Password" positions already.

I am moving from a Nvidia GeForce GT 530 to the 730. Im just concerned that it isn't compatible with my motherboard. I read that there a different generations of PCI x16 slot and the Gen 3 cards do not work with the Gen 1 slots. Can you confirm if this is true?

I don't exactly know where to look for a BIOS update. Nothing appears on the HP website for my machine, which is model number h8-1160t. The Video Card is a 4GB card.

The card may need a separate BIOS? Sorry im not very familiar with BIOS or really what legacy means, so if you could explain that would be awesome. Thanks for the help!
