GeForce GT 730 not working

My brand new GeForce MSI 730 1gb will not work when I use the VGA output. It does work on the other hand when I use hdmi

Assuming you're 100% sure that your monitor works with VGA on other computers then it seems you got a defective card, send it back while you can for a replacement.
