Geforce GT520MX 2GB vs GT54M 2GB

Hello, I am considering 2 computers. The difference is: one has geforce GT520MX, the other has Geforce GT54M. I am studying to become a building engineer, so I need to run heavy 3D modeling programs. Which one is better? (I need to run programs like Archicad(especially), Tekla, FEM-design)

Thanks for response. I do not really know what to compare them on. I don't know which parts make it good and bad. I have looked them up and can see one of them is class 3 and the other is class 2, but I don't know enough to compare them

Hi. It is in a laptop. It is going to be used for 3D modelling.(Using the program Archicad) Studying to be a building engineer.

theres not much of gpu acceleration on a laptop gpu because there isnt much of a gpu.
Does the program you use support the cards?
Also remember a gpu will only help a slow cpu. If they are matched up with the I7 920Qm get the one with the better higher clocked cpu as it will help more than the gpu will

The GT54m is a typo.

Check the spec on official site.

Comparing the GT540m and GT520mx, the GT540m is about 40-50% faster than GT520mx.
