I have a BioStar G41D3C MotherBoard, I'm planning to upgrade my GeForce 9500GT to GeForce GTS 450 or GeForce GT 430, is it compatible with my MotherBoard?

Here is my current setup:
Intel E6600 Processor
BioStar G41D3C MotherBoard
GeForce 9500GT
2GB DDR3

Will upgrading make any changes at all?

And more importantly, is it compatible?

Thank you for support.

From Wikipedia:

"The PCIe 2.0 standard doubles the transfer rate compared with PCIe 1.0 to 5 GT/s and the per-lane throughput rises from 250 MB/s to 500 MB/s. This means a 32-lane PCIe connector (×32) can support throughput up to 16 GB/s aggregate.
PCIe 2.0 motherboard slots are fully backward compatible with PCIe v1.x cards. PCIe 2.0 cards are also generally backward compatible with PCIe 1.x motherboards, using...

Sorry, I'm a noob at hardwares, so does that mean i'll be fine? and why can't I use it to the fullest? Please explain. Can I also use GeForce GT 430? Thank you.

PCIe 2.0 motherboard slots are fully backward compatible with PCIe v1.x cards. PCIe 2.0 cards are also generally backward compatible with PCIe 1.x motherboards, using the available bandwidth of PCI Express 1.1. Overall, graphic cards or motherboards designed for v2.0 will work with the other being v1.1 or v1.0a."

But according to the specs of the card, I'm wrong. They will not max out the specs on the PCIe 1.0 lane you have.

You should be fine with the gts 450
