Geforce GTX 1060 won't work on Asus H110M-K

Hi all,
I've tried to find an answer in various threads for the past 2-3 hours but nothing worked.
I've bought a new computer but I'm having trouble making it actually work.

I have the Geforce GTX 1060 GPU connected to the only PCIe port on this Asus H110M-K mobo. In BIOS the primary display is set to "CPU Graphics" and nothing I do seems to change it - it simply doesn't save my changes! Doesn't save it on "PCIE" or "Auto". There are no errors messages, but after a restart I see that the setting is back to "CPU Graphics".
Don't know if it's relevant, but the BIOS is by "American megatrends" V. 2.17.1246

I've reset the CMOS thingy and that did nothing. Basically I followed every advice I could find online. Don't know what else to do.
Please help!

Solution
So this looks more like problem with GPU. Even if integrated GPU is having priority, you should still be able to get display from both motherboard and 1060 at the same time. Could you test GPU at another machine to make sure it works properly? The reason BIOS is not allowing to use PCIE setting could be because it does not see the GPU (and that would point toward GPU failure). However, if 1060 would work at another machine, your only options left are (in that order):
> do a CMOS reset (very hard reset, like removing battery for 24 h)
> update BIOS version (maybe BIOS got corrupted somehow, that could fix it)
> and if nothing worked till that point, rma motherboard
So the system works fine, but you get display through motherboard. What happens if you connect monitor to GPU while the PC is already working - will you get display from it too? Also, does this 'no-save' BIOS behavior has effect only on this setting, or on other settings too - if you say change boot order priority, will it save it correctly?

Thanks for the quick response!
If I connect the monitor to the Geforce after the system loaded with the "CPU graphics" option it doesn't work.
The "not remembering" issue seems to affect only that option. (I've played around with fan speeds, for example)

Alrighty, tested the GPU from another machine with this one and vice versa.
The 1060 GTX wouldn't work on the other machine, and the 560 GTX Ti from the other machine managed to load just fine on the newely bought machine.

Conclusion: This new GTX 1060 is faulty, which is a shame considering it's supposed to be a brand new Gigabyte one.
