Hello,

I do not know much about computers but I just purchased a GeForce GTX 1070 and it says that I need to use a 8 pin PCI express power plug to plug in the graphics card. I only have the 6 pin on my powersupply but noticed I have a 6 pin SLI branched with 2 other pins that could fit in the graphics card 8 pin slots. Is it okay to use the SLI plugs instead of the PCI. Thanks in advance!

Solution
You have a "6+2" connector that fits into an 8-pin slot for the power supply.

So use that. Easy peezy.

It's compatible with either a single 6-pin, or single 8-pin on the graphics card.
