I originally uninstalled my Geforce GTX 1080 drivers to update them using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) but after that my gtx 1080 would no longer show a display when I connected a monitor to the HDMI port.
I'm using my motherboards HDMI port, When I open display driver properties It shows the adapter as "Microsoft Basic Display Driver" ( https://gyazo.com/386fa67a748567d5b80fce0de3ab4ba2 ) and Monitor shows up as "Generic PnP Monitor" ( https://i.gyazo.com/539d7481a8299067d580afe2b02375be.png ).
Both my onboard graphics and GTX 1080 are showing up under "Other devices" and are both named "Video Controller (VGA Compatible)" in device manager. ( https://gyazo.com/4879a5891232bc288d0741e880838f43 )
I have tried installing drivers through Nvidia.
Which doesn't give me the option to clean install, It actually skips the "Options" tab entirely. ( https://gyazo.com/10a2b5a55d95c3779b7c5f4ec2a7cb29 )
Windows ( https://gyazo.com/2e4e062439461bf71efd335bc2eb9c8e )
DriverDR ( https://gyazo.com/eeac1c982c3ced3801472bd2394bc478 ).
I get errors on each one.
I have also tried to install the previously deleted driver but nothing seems to be working as windows doesn't detect either device as a video card. I have reseated the graphics card and tried different PCI slots multiple times, I have also reset the CMOS twice. I have no idea what could be causing this as the card and the build itself is relatively new. Any reply could really help. Thank you.

Solution
It may very well be that it's your graphics card that doesn't work as it should.
You can find out by trying to run it in another computer and/or try using another (known functional) graphics card in your computer.

Resetting the CMOS (on the motherboard) can probably make it go back to primarily using the IGP.
Be sure to disable the IGP and connect the monitor directly to the graphics card as the computer is re-started.

Do I disable the IGP through device manager? I have reset the CMOS before and tried connecting the monitor to my gpu with no luck.

I went into UEFI BIOS and set the primary display to PEG but when I connected my monitor to the GPU I only got a black screen until I restarted my computer and hooked my monitor back up to the motherboards HDMI port.
