[SOLVED] GeForce GTX-1660 Ti with Intel DH67CL motherboard. Asking before buying.

Hello everyone,
I want to upgrade my Graphic card, but I don’t know if it will work fine on my System.
If somebody already install this card on this motherboard successfully, I'll be very happy to know.
I just want to be sure before I'll order this card.

The biggest question is if that board is booting in UEFI mode or legacy. A lot of newer GPUs support only UEFI booting, although I have read it shouldn't matter, but does depend on the AiB manufacture and the BIOS on board. If it was it should work without any problems but if it is legacy the card might not work.

Another thing is to check what version of BIOS your board is running. It has to be a ME8 BIOS to work with nVidia 900 series or newer. Based on some research that board should work as it does support Ivy Bridge (3000 series CPUs) which required a ME8 BIOS. I would recommend updating it to the latest BIOS to be safe.

Thank you very much for your help. I remember a couple years ago, I saw the UEFI feature in my motherboard BIOS and I tried unsuccessfully to enable it and install windows.
When I saw your message, I searched and I found a guid on yotube how to convert my SSD partition from MBR to GPT and install windows with UEFI enabled.
I tried it and it works.
I have the latest BIOS. 23/10/2018 Version BLH6710H.86A.0163.2018.1023.1559
You said that "It has to be a ME8 BIOS". What do you mean?
I run the tool HWiNFO64, and it shows UEFI capable.
Another thing that I concern about is the PCI Express. On INTEL website it shows that my DH67CL motherboard has PCI Express 3.0, it also shows that my i7 2600 CPU support PCI Express 2.0.
Any additional help will be appreciated.

M8 was a BIOS version for Intel specifically for Ivy Bridge. If you have the latest BIOS then you should be good to go as that board does support Ivy Bridge.

That all said the 1660 should work without issue.
